Comcast’s new volunteerism program, Team UP, launched last week, with an event at the Northeast Frankford Boys and Girls Club, 1709 Kinsey St., with Olympic swimming gold medalist Simone Manuel.

Comcast employees joined the Boys and Girls Club kids and staff to assemble solar-powered cars from a kit to promote STEM learning, motor skills building and group collaboration. ••
